O2 sensor problem?

OK guys - help me figure this one out -

I have a persistent problem of stalling when the car has not been driven for a while - It starts fine, then about 30 sec. to 1 min. later, it'll shut off. It can take a fare amount of cranking to restart. May repeat a couple of times. Once warm, the problems disappear and the car drives like everything (sensors, etc) are o.k. It did the same thing in the summer as it is now doing in the winter. It is kept in a garage for the most part when not driving.

My guess is that it is when the 02 sensor gets warm enough to kick in, it's not doing it right, until after the engine gets warmer.

Any advice on how to check the O2 sensor and/or other potential causes?

Thanks in advance.

Unplug O2 sensor when this happens and see if problem is still there.

If you had a california car, the O2 sensor would be heated. If it has one wire, not heated, if 3 wires, heated.

Could also be your Aux Air Valve.

I'll try the unplug trick first (non-CA model) - the aux air valve was my other thought. Thanks for your advice.
