Question 944S chain tensioner

I was wondering if anyone has been sucessful in locating and installing a replacement foot for the 944S chain tensioner. I had heard that there was such a part available without having to purchase a whole new tensioner unit ?

Just for my own safety, I must point out that a co-worker posted this question under my name. I don't want the 911 guys to think I've sold out to the dark side.

Funny, we always thought the 911 was the dark side...

In all seriouosness, for your co-worker. He can either replace the foot (Very easy - think it is a $12 part) or if he is rolling close to 90-100K miles, he would be better off replacing the tensioner and J pipe (oil line feeding the tensioner)

Don't be cheap when it comes to your tensioner. Pay $240 now, or pay $12 for the foot now and have the hydrolics fail and pay $5000+. I know, I had it happen to mine as did about a dozen or so other people on this site.
