A few small issues

Ok so on my 88 944 N/A the cooling fans will come on while the car is completely off throughout the night and drain the battery. Should i just replace a fuse or wire them into a switch under the dash? Also, i have an awful belt sqeal any time i go anywhere in between idle and full throttle. I do believe its the AC or Alternator thats causing the belt squeal. The timing belt seems to be in good condition and was routinely replaced around 10k miles ago. But, can i just put dry graphite lube on the belts to stop the squealing?

If the fan is not turning off it is probably the fan sensor in the radiator. The squealing belts are probably loose and need adjustment.

A quick way to tell if it is a loose or glazed belt versus a bad bearing is to watch the battery gauge. If it jumps around while the squealing is going on and then jumps up after the squealing stops you have a loose or glazed belt

Temp switch in the radiator is faulty. Common failure item. Rub bar soap on the belts to see if the noise goes away. If so, tighten or replace the belts.
