Fuel lines labeled to show age?
Just wondering...if there are any symbols/numbers/dates, etc. on engine-compartment fuel lines that will tell me their age?

No. They are probably original, which means they are pushing 30+ years.

Yep, lots cheaper than replacing everything under the hood, including the fuel lines.

If over 30 years old change them or you'll regret it. Seen too many pictures of ALFA's burn't up because of this lack of maintenance. Can't blame it on ethanol, that's "BS" Bet your brake hoses were changed by now, why neglect the gas lines, it's an explosive!
You'll take one out and see if you press the end how cracked they are and how dangerous it is not to replace them.

![]() These are shown in post #8 above and are for the front of a 924S and 944/1. Hard to show once installed but this is what I have......... ![]() ![]() The photos show the replacement E-85 rated hoses installed with 1) Foam Insulation and 2) Aftermarket Insulation the customer provided. As you can see here..... ![]() the area behind the Brake Booster is tight and not accessible for crimping new hose unless the Booster is removed. To save all this extra work, I have been able to make up longer hoses that connect below the Booster in the area under the pedals & floor boards...... ![]() The hardlines are cut and connections are made with Metric Flare fittings and as factory in design & construction. Optionally, I have Metric compression fittings if a flare tool is not available. Hope this helps. Len
