Piston Scuffing

I’m in the home stretch of my timing belt failure rebuild. I have taken off the cylinder head and am cleaning the carbon deposits off the pistons. Once clean I notched some scuffing on the top. I’m unsure on what the tolerances are on these, would these work fine or are they too damaged?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1497806409.jpg

maybe a light touch of sandpaper to smooth it down but i wouldnt worry about it.

Or use deburring tool on the sharp edges. Then sand the edges and edges of other valve pocket.
This improves heat dissipation and knock-resistance

yeah. As long as the edges are smoothed and nothing gnarly sticking up, it should be fine like the others say.
