Question Piston Scuffing

Iím in the home stretch of my timing belt failure rebuild. I have taken off the cylinder head and am cleaning the carbon deposits off the pistons. Once clean I notched some scuffing on the top. Iím unsure on what the tolerances are on these, would these work fine or are they too damaged?

Or use deburring tool on the sharp edges. Then sand the edges and edges of other valve pocket.
This improves heat dissipation and knock-resistance

yeah. As long as the edges are smoothed and nothing gnarly sticking up, it should be fine like the others say.
