Unknown Brake pads 87 944S

Hello to all
Does anybody recognize the type of caliper that uses the brake pads pictured in this post ? Stock pads are the ones with openings in the middle with actual pads having larger holes on the outside.
I dont know what pads to purchase.
Thanks in advance
Pedro

Why not post a pic of the caliper? Maybe they are not OEM calipers or your new pads are wrong... From our host, here is what they should look like, as mentioned, like your "wider" hole example:

Looks like you bought some pads for the S2.

The S has the same calipers as the NA, which look like your old ones in that picture.

They sure look like pads used in the Brembo calipers on the original 944 Turbo (non-S) and 944S2, among other models.

Those are stock 944S/NA calipers. You should have some pins going through the holes to hold the pads in place, plus a wire keeper at the inside of the caliper.

Stock pads at least from autozone, do not match up to the calipers installed on my 944s
If stock pads wont work what my next choice? S2?

Lie to the idiot behind the Autozone counter and tell him that you have an 87 944 (not an S, not a turbo), and you should get the right pads.

That said, there are much better pads out there, probably cheaper.

Yes, second the Mintex pad idea. They are really good.
