88’ na icv
Does anyone have an ICV for an 88’ NA? $200 for one seems a bit steep. Not to mention everywhere iv checked is out of stock

Just get one for a Saab, Volvo, BMW, etc with the same connector and barb arrangement. They did not make a special one for Porsche. My 94 968 had a BMW E30 ISV in it when I got it. Worked fine but the fittings were wrong orientation.
Maybe something like this? Is yours 3 wire? I'd probably get a good clean used Bosch one myself for similar money and clean up the grungy end with some acetone and ATF. Under $20 shipped by the pick-n-pull folks on Ebay.

Hi,
I had good luck, so far, with an ICV that I purchased directly from China. Search under the Bosch number (0280140501) in the usual places. Cost around $50.00. I built a bench tester to test my original ICV. I couldn't get it work smoothly at all temperatures even after cleaning. Plus it was leaking a little. I wouldn't expect any used unit to work much better. They are all getting on thirty years old now and the wear patterns are all the same. I got the unit form China as a stop-gap measure. It tested well on the bench and works well in my 86 944. Last I checked, an ICV can be ordered from Porsche, if the cost is not an issue. Also, our host list the unit as in stock, ships tomorrow.
