Upgrading Headlamp Question

I am considering upgrading my headlamps, and am wondering about the various options available to me.

Here is the Hella H4 option from Pelican ($47.50 x 2 = $95/set):
http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/944M/POR_944M_lenses_pg1.htm#item1

Here is the Xenon HID option ($49.99/set bid starting price):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33710&item=2404716889&rd=1

Here is a difference between the Xenon and H4 versions? I would appreciate any advice from my wise Pelican gurus

THANKS!

The "Xenon" upgrade is not a true xenon upgrade, they will look blue, but not provide the high visibility of real xenon lights, a real xenon upgrade would cost a fortune. The Hella's are good lenses, I had some until one took a rock and cracked, now I have Cibie e-code lenses and they are my favorite so far, they are not street legal but who's gonna know? If you upgrade go with the Hella's or something of equal quality, and don't go for blue bulbs if oyu want to upgrade to improve your lights, if you are going for looks alone go ahead with the blue ones.

I am just finishing putting my engine back in.....

After pricing out new OEM grounds....ICe sharks battery setup is a huge deal..........and he really does a nice job

I am installing everything as we speak. You can really see how under engineered our grounding and electrical system are in the 944 series.

I can't wait to start the car and flip those lights on!

Rennlist, a guy named Dan Wray makes the kits, his screename is IceShark, he's a great guy and I had hte pleasure of meeting him when I picked up my lenses. There have been nothing but excellent reviews from those who have purchased his kit.
