Cool Sunroof operation... (87 924S)

good, now that I have your attention, I have a ?. I have a 1987 924S and I was wondering, step by step, what I have to do to take out the sunroof. I will tell you what I do. Insert key, turn a quarter till it clicks, depress latches on sunroof connecting to body, open sunroof as far as it goes(until it stops). That's it, I dont know where to go after that. It appears that the gearstrip, that connects to the sunroof is still attached, and I dont know what I have to do to remove this. Is this hard to remove? This isnt supposed to be like a permenant removal is it? if it rains can I just slip it back in and crank it? or do I have to get out a bunch of tools? help me out please!
Cody
P.S. I am sorry if the subject was a dick tease, but I have no other way of getting your attention.

That didn't do anything to the appearance of the title on the discussions page, OK I'll let this one go... Remember, no pornography allowed in these forms, not that you posted any but just a reminder.

there is some nudity in the off-topic forums (bill clinton with nudie picture book)... those posts didn't get pulled... or is it "anything goes" in the OT dungeon?

No: it's not anything goes. Porn is not allowed anywhere in the PelicanBBS realm.

And if you're listening, 924s-fast: you're walking on thin ice: watch the language, and watch what you post here.

Come on nah......

It could have meant naked infants, laying on the hood of a 944 while being changed.

I know there should not be any "porn" here, but that was pretty PG wasn't it?

Is it just me, or would everyone here really enjoy getting plastered with Z-man just to see his "dark side"???

****Z-man in normal mode****

"And if you're listening, 924s-fast: you're walking on thin ice: watch the language, and watch what you post here."

****Plastered Z-man*****

"Ok - someone street-race me to the store (swearing all the way), so I can get some Zig-Zags and rent "Itty Bitty Titty Committee"!!"

(just having some fun Z-man - keep those phasers off)

Oh - I forgot Z-man......how did you get that Avatar up?? I asked this of you in the past. Is that Avatar 50x50 pixles (that is the max, no?) or do you have extra pixles to play with?

I can't get any good Avatar up cause they all are too big. Any suggestions on making it "smaller" without taking away from the look?

Back to the thread....

Is the 924 sunroof the same as the 944's? Is the roof removal procedure the same?

944S Boyeee
