Identifying the AC compressor
Do I need to remove the compressor to identify the specific Denso model? I’d like to look at a reseal kits from Century or Griffiths.
Anyone with a reseal experience? |
Sorry I meant to mention it’s 91 S2!

10P15E. Might as well replace the nose bearing too. I've resealed several.

Griffiths has the correct kit for the compressor, but you can call them after extracting the compressor from its hiding place and verify it. Actually the S2 is the easiest compressor to get to, its the turbo that's a killer. You may need to remove the S2 AFM for more working space, but that's all.
Also, check the high pressure side hose from the compressor to the condensor; they are the most stressed hose and will fail. |
