DFW Breakfast GTG January 4, 2020
This upcoming first Saturday Breakfast will be at The Golden Egg in Bartonville January 4, 2020 at 8am!
The Golden Egg 2650 FM407 Bartonville, TX 76226 This is the first DFW breakfast GTG of 2020 and this could be your first chance to show what dynamite 928 stuff you got yourself for Christmas As always, you don't have to drive a 928 or even own one to attend this GTG, but if you can, we would all love to see your car with you in it. There is usually a lot of 928 knowledge and assistance available at these GTGs, so if you have a question that's been on your mind, come have breakfast with us and ask it. Maybe we can all learn something from your question!! See you there!

Word has it that Colin Jensan(aka Lizard 928)will be at the breakfast with his family. Colin is the designer of the "Lizard" shifter and the mainstay crackerjack 928 repairman in the Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada area.

Sorry that i missed it! I planned on attending, but I wound up having to volunteer to install a new water heater for my 92 y/o grandfather. Hope to be there next month with a much better running 928. I ordered a vacuum system smoke machine and hope to find my vacuum leak when it shows up. It's got to the point where it's annoying to drive.
And on top of it running bad, I've developed a vibration in the torque tube. Looks like I'll be pulling it out yet again... I might just order a rebuilt TT this time.

Jonah, Did you already replace the bearings in your torque tube? If not, there are local owners who will help rebuilt your existing TT. Just get yours pulled and let us know. We will be glad to help.
In the meantime, here are some pictures from the last breakfast to tide you over until February 1. Harvey arrived at the breakfast on his way back home to South Dakota. 8 great cars Strange place for a cupholder on BradW's car-with ROG100 Dan Friedberg's 81 Dan's interiorThank you to Dash Matthas for the pictures

Sorry for the late reply! Looks like I missed a good meet! Yes, I changed my TT bearings back around September. I have since developed a new harmonic vibration which appears to be from the TT. I'm assuming the bearing retainers have vibrated up or down the shaft or maybe the bushing that fits between the bearing and the driveshaft came out on one or both of the bearings. I'll probably be pulling it out again soon!
