Thanks!
Nothing on eBay that I can find.
Going to junk yard to try finding used one first before I start making one!

Another place that carries all sorts of electrical parts is Digikey.com or Mosure.com Electronics. All sorts of connectors, resistors, capacitors, IC's, transistors, etc.

I wish I never spent a single dime on the audio in my 928. I had a great system in my 944T, and wanted at least good in the 928, but the 928 has some basic issues. The speaker mounting area in the doors is very shallow, so few if any aftermarket speakers will fit without cutting metal. The 928 is not a quiet car, and my natural inclination is to make it much less quiet.

I dropped about a grand, and the results are poor. Maybe some day I may attempt to fix that, but a very fair chance exists that it mostly goes back to stock.

The reason I changed radios was my original Blau quit working. I installed the JVC with all the new features CD/DVD and with cell phone input. When I put in the sub woofer and amp it made a big difference! The old radio also had a obsolete tape dive.

Did anyone consider putting an amp in the rear center console?

I fit the woofer amp under the passenger seat. Mounted the volume control under the glove box.
