abs fault
Hi all,
I have recently acquired an Ex Japan S4. The dash has a scrolling message telling me the ABS is turned off. is there a way to turn it on again. My owners manual is in Japanese, and I cant read it and my google searches are not leading me anywhere. any help will be appreciated. |

Struan,
The ABS system can be accessed with the Bosch "Hammer" tool. I don't think there is actually a way to "turn it off" but the Hammer can make the ABS pump operate. Check your individual ABS sensors on each wheel to make sure they are functional. Your 928 will automatically shut off the ABS system if those sensors are missing, damaged, or wired wrong. There is also a Bosch plug in tool that can be used to trouble shoot the ABS system and will tell where in the ABS system the problem lies.
