Bosch warranty experience, anybody?

Fuel pump stopped working on my 83, and snooping around for the cheapest source amazon popped up the message "you bought one of these before" or something like that, and sure enough a couple clicks and I was looking at my order from 2012.

In 2016 Bosch announced a limited lifetime warranty for all US part number fuel pumps.

My question is has anybody actually used the warranty?

channel affiliate with the following items: original bill of receipt, proof of new fuel filter installed – including receipt of new
inline fuel filter installed, and the original product.
