It has a pair of new koni schoks, however the noise was there before the new schocks were installed. Hints: 1-I notice something lose inside the ansa mufler 2-When I drive the car with the trunk open the noise dissapear 3-I notice the noise more often when for some reason the car is not driven in even position (turning to an entrance, etc) Thanks for your help in advance, and I am sorry if I do not explain myself very clear. I am not a mechanic andy |

If the noise goes away with the rear hatch open, you should go around and tighten the connections for the hatch, including the hinges. You should also check the lock assembly, both the upper part and the lower part. Snug down all of the bolts and screws.
Other possible culprits (which are unrelated to the hatch if the hatch isn't the problem) could be loose brake calipers. Bottom line is that you'll probably need to get out your tools and go around tightening everything in the rear of the car and in the wheel wells. |

I am working on it, but now the car does not want to start. The gas pump is ok. I replace the ignition coil because it did not have spark, but now there is no spark with the new one> Have any idea what can be wrong?
Thanks for your concern andy

Car doesn't want to start.
First thing I would do is check the fuel injection relay. They are notorious for failing on old cars. They corrode inside. Take it out, tap it LIGHTLY on the ground, install, see if the car starts. Then check the Thermo Time Switch, mounted at the front of the motor near the thermostat housing on the motor. This thing costs $40 and controls the cold start valve located under the intake spider. Also check the Temp II sensor, located at the front of the motor. good luck regards, P Nashville ![]()
