question for IGGY.
hi dave, i live in windsor, and of course, there are no official dealers here. i have e-mailed fred lavery, on 14 mile. but have received no reply.
basically, i'm hoping that you can maybe suggest an independant garage, in the area, that i can take my 944 to. as you are in detroit, i'm guessing that you know the local garages. i had a knock from the engine, only around 1800rpm, so i changed out the rod bearings, inspected mains, wrist pins etc. all ok, back together, but still a knock, but not as bad. however, i think that the fuel mixture needs looked at,and maybe a few other things. finding a local garage is a pain!! any suggestions? regards, bob.

Jeff Jones in Farmington Hills is probably your best bet. His shop is down the street from Cook Imports. I've got his contact information at work, so I'll post it tomorrow. I've heard nothing but good comments about his work.
