Unhappy Engine Cuts out @ 2000 RPM Once the car Warms UP!

Car: 928 S4 ,1987 Done 68000 miles, UK Spec.I have the Car In India.

I have a strange problem of engine Cutting out @ 2000 RPM Once the car Warms UP!,Before warming Up it is Normal and Revs to the Redline. It feels like a redline limiter cutting in,that is i have my foot on the gas pedal in the floored position but it bounces of 2000 RPM like it is a Limiter.

After it cools down it runs normally till it warms UP.
There is no High temp or any coolant leak.

I got the car from the previous owner with the Problem and he tells me this happened after he changed the radiator.

Any info will be helpful.

Thanks.

If you have the ability to swap your fuel injection chips with those from another normally-functioning '87, do so. Yours may be failing. The chips are located in the passenger side footwell, inside a carped box formed by the floormat. Those chips control the rev limit.

Just a guess.
