Rebuilding 928S4 front calipers

I have two 928S4 front calipers thatneed to be refurbished (cleaned, new seals, repainted, etc) and I'm looking for some advice from someone who has done this before.

Steps
source for parts
process
paint or powder coat
etc.

Anyone got some info? Suggestions?

Thanks

Part are available from you board host here (Pelican Parts).

As for process, paint, etc; check out www.nichols.nu/tip.htm
there's alot info in all areas of 928 upkeep archived there.

One thing you do need to be sure of (depending on year), is which calipers you have. There were a couple changes in piston diameter and dust seal design thru the 86.5-88 MYs. You may actually have to pull them 1st to be sure.

Sorry, no links for the actual rebuild procedure, but since the calipers are Brembos, it should be similar to rebuilds for other Porsche models.
