A/C recharging

Anybody out there done their own A/C recharging? I have a '84 928 that consantly leaks freon. I want to use Freeze12 and start doing it myself. Bought a kit on ebay but can't locate the low pressure service valve on my car. Can anybody help?

Thanks, guys.

the low fitting is under the upper rad hose, pass side of engine
it's a PITA to get to, I recommend you only try this when the engine is cold

I would however, recommend you find the leak PRIOR to refilling as the stop-leak stuff rarely works long term

THANKS

Appreciate the tip. you sure that is not the high pressure valve?
If it's next to the drier, it is. Low pressure is supposed to be under the coil on the right side. ? ? ?

Found it!

I found the low pressure service port right where you said it was - right under the upper radiator hose.

You may be the only guy on the internet who actually knows where it is.

Thanks so much for the help.
