Front Brakes @ 20 degrees

I changed my front brake pads over the weekend and could not figure out how to rotate the piston marks to 20 degrees in the caliper as shown in the manual. They work just fine, so why do I need to rotate the piston? They were probably off by 10 to 15 degrees. Let me know if I need to fix it this weekend.

The pistons float in the caliper, so you should be able to release the pressure by opening the bleed valve, then use a screwdriver or punch to rotate it to the correct position. BTW you should rebleed the brakes after this adjustment.
