fuel pressure testing

can anyone explain how to check the fuel pressure?
I have a 87 928 which runs ok but once I turn it off, it cranks but wont restart (until the next morning) It has a good crank. I have changed the fuel filter and check valve and relay. it has spark. I saw a link that suggested checking the pressure.

I think the actual measuring is fairly straight forward. Somebody will post soon with more details.
