When did the track car bug bite?
I'm wondering if it happens to everybody, and what starts it and when it happens. Originally I was thinking of a street car for myself, and as I refined the idea of what I wanted I started thinking about more than one car. First it was a 5 spd for having some fun, then maybe an auto my wife might like to drive or for days when I didn't feel like shifting in traffic. No idea when it happened, but I suspect some gremlin goes around whispering "track car" when I am asleep or something.
Its still just a rolling around idea, but maybe a "low cost" 78/79 5 spd with no sunroof and a bad interior to start with an ...
