engine stop when hot and wont start after 15 min
 

can somebody help me.
i have a 928 83 and when it gets hot it will automatically shot of and i have to wait aboud 15 Min before it starts again

Hey, how's it going? I don't know that much about these cars either, but some more info might help others give you a hand.

First of all is it an auto or 5 speed? Does it do it in gear or even if it's just in neutral? Is it when you step on the gas or does it do it when idling too? Is there any indication that it's dying or does it just shut off? Did you do any work on the car recently?

I looked up your previous posts, I think they were about alternator problems or a voltage gauge reading. Did you do anything about that?

My dad's Porsche once exhibited the same symptoms yours is. The culprit with his car was bad gas (i.e. it had antifreeze in it), which slimed up the components of the fuel pump causing it to not function properly. A few bottles of Gumout and changing the fuel filter solved the problem.

I recommend replacing the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump fuse.

This is common on L-jet cars, they can get a sort of vapor lock scenario. Try the above and also make sure to install a new check valve at the pump.
