Early 78 Euro on ebay $500 FL

Vin doesn't look right to me, 9289100075 but its got Euro fenders, located in FL.

$500 5 spd, what more could you ask for, except some rustoleum maybe.

Thats not a 78 muffler on that thing. It's from a later car. This car is not worth saving. Let it die.

I wonder if we could get the 928 declared an endangered species?

I haven't seen a 928 yet that I didn't want a few more parts off of before heads to its new life as rebar and soda cans.

If somebody wanted to be buried in a 928 this car would be ideal. It has that hard to achieve recently dug up look.

I live 5 minutes from this shop so I had to take a look. Motor is completely seized, interior is green (don't know if it's mold or if thats just the color). Not much you can really use off the car. Hasn't been on the road since the mid 80's. It would be one hell of a project!

Awe man, I actually liked the Green interior. Are you sure this wasn't one of the boats in the Katrina Storm?

IMO, this would make a great foundation for a 928 "Back to the Future" conversion. Flux capacitor anyone?

doesn't look so bad...

I don't know, looks about the same as my 78 5sp looked when I bought it for "a song."

Now, having spent TWICE THE FRIGGIN VALUE of the car in replacement parts, I'm still a pretty happy camper.

Was your engine locked up for 15 years as well?

Worse.

Broken fuel pump, wrong timing, clogged injection parts, etc. Don't get me started. Taught me how the car was put together, at least!

I wonder if the black painted front rims were intended to spruce it up what a mess.
