In unconventional warfare, "bomb" can refer to any of a limitless range of explosive devices used as boobytraps or offensive weapons.

I dunno about this new car your selling! I would stay away ppl, sounds like it has been boobytrapped!!!!!!

low miler,

you forgot to mentioned Hp & torque. I mean, think about gas mileage implications about having so much power under your feet.

I' sure people don't really want a German car either - they're OLD... 'Newer' car countries like Korea and China obviously won't be as 'stuck-in-their-ways' as the Germans.

Darn, now I'll never be able to sell my 928 Euro S - even though it's an automatic. Oh well. guess I'll just have to carry on driving it.

Be like an eagle, and soar above the fray. All you have to do is continue to offer good cars and act like a gentleman, and all the comments will slowly fade away. In my view, any kind of recognition or aknowledgement of such comments only gives them further life and draws attention to them.

I like you, and I like Randy. I don't let casual comments color my thinking, nor do most people. Be assured of that. If something is really out of line, I notice that people speak up for your integrity. Let them. In the long run, that is the best course of action.

I agree. Things had settled down and this thread seems like you are trying to stir it up again. Some things are better left alone.

Keep posting the car ads Todd, I truly enjoy to see what these machines are meant to look like.

^^^^All of you guys are right. I have absolutely nothing against Randy at all. The original thread was intended as a lighthearted and humorous piece more than anything. Once I read some of the "pot stirring" posts, I went back and re-read my original post and realized it could have easily been mistaken as such. So therefore, I simply went back and deleted the entire post and put a definitive humorous answer to my self imposed question. I have no problems with Randy V at all. We've long since worked thru our old "issues", so I apologize for any misconstrued intent, mostly to Randy if he took it that way......

Later, Todd

the basic problem of this is when you give one person the authority to monitor the sandbox, and the monitoring/discipline isn't done without bias.

any comments afterward are basically unproductive and start a lame war between those who feelings got hurt and those who have the authority to pull the ban switch.

if the charter was followed to the letter, many of the participants would be permanently removed.

there is still baiting directed to me on occasion from a few, but one only has to realize that nothing has/will be done about it due to the "status" of these people on any given day. Their transgressions are overlooked because they are "long time contributors". in this case, it's easier to say "it's your opinion, not mine, have a good day." It, frankly, is laughable that some try to label you as grumpy, or unknowledge-able, or whatever....when these same people have no idea of who you are, what you resume is, or what you are trying achieve.

bias should not be tolerated in a fair world, but life's not fair.

The good thing is that in this venue, the tolerance level is much higher, but discipline is levied in a much more unbiased way.

I didn't see the post before Todd edited it, but I will say I am still a bit disappointed that he did not take me up on my offer to come over to the casa for cocktails when he was in San Diego.

Todd and I are fine - sorry to disappoint the peanut gallery!
