'78 Shark gets second chance!

Bought Mark's (Rennlister) 78 Euro for my daughter and figured I'd post a thread of the clean up and resto.

For those of you who have not met MARK... What a great guy!

I have a 1981 Euro S 5.0L hybrid on steriods.., my oldest daughter has a 1980 Euro 4.5L 5 speed, now my middle daughter has a 78 Euro 4.5L 5 speed! That's right it's not going to fleabay!

I have just about all the spare parts I need to get her going again. My daughter's B-day is the 30th, so it's her B-day present ($$Along with a new laptop$$) and for X-mas I'll have it runnning. Maybe paint in the spring, if she gets a JOB...

I feel kinda bad, for the price I paid I feel like I stole the car and trailer... I owe Mark big time. Hopefully he'll give me some driving lessons.

I'm more excited about this one than my first since it's for my daughter. We have our own 928 club at home now.

And yes, it'as going stock resto (other than S spoilers) unlike Ricerschnitzzle... you concours guys can breath easy.
Though I do have an extra set of Euro-S heads and cams...and a Y-pipe with '85 manifolds...

I'm not sure you are safe to own a trailer with 3 928's already.

Stock is a dandy way to go on the 78, and I would even leave off the S spoilers and rub strips if you are painting.

Black car is going full track now that I have a trailer. Trailer should clean up nice. Got a buddy who will weld on the tire rack over the tool box. Of course that means I need to start looking for an S4 DD...

Might kill the spoilers on hers and add an S4 type spoiler on the back.

everyone should have a trailer (ha, ha, ha.....).

if you need a S4 wing, I have one available, as well as two sets of S spoilers.

I love seeing OB's restored. Hows the interior? Mine is trashed and I have those fabric seats found these early Euros. Post some interior/engine pics.
