After Fixing Odometer: Tach doesn't work

Like the title says, after fixing the odometer, my tach doesn't work.

Here's what I did.

• Disconnected the battery
• Pulled the pod
• Pulled the Speedo unit
• Fixed the odometer gear
• Replaced the illumination lights
• Replaced pod

Now, I can't get the tachometer to work. As well, the high beam light indicator doesn't work. Everything else seems to work well although the voltmeter reads higher than it used to.

Is it possible that I wire connections on the passenger side to the wrong post? I thought I connected them back the way they were but now I'm not so sure. Maybe I'm just looking for easy answers.

I suspect poor instead of wrong connections. Before buttoning up the pod maybe its a good idea to make sure everything is working?

clean your contacts on the flexible circuit board (back of instrument panel)---then clean the rest of the cars connections.

I've gone over every connection and bulb with an eraser about a year ago and everything had been working perfectly since. Then the odometer broke so I pulled it to fix. Now, the tach doesn't work. I'll pull the pod again, I'm getting use to pulling the pod so that's become an easy procedure.

Does anyone know which wiring harness connection is the tachometer (passenger side upper or passenger side lower)?

Update: Re-cleaned and everthing is back to normal.

I'm getting great at pulling the pod. Had it pulled, connections cleaned, and back in less than 30 minutes. Probably less than that but I got distracted.
