new dyno numbers---it's not what you think
 
latest dyno numbers, at the rear wheels.....


engine rated speed--2000 rpms
coolant temp--133 degrees
oil temp--209.75 degrees
intake temp--67 degrees
engine oil pressure--36.5 PSI
engine load--99.5 %
percentage wheel slip--6.94%


533.18 horsepower

569.55 corrected horsepower (actual measured horsepower plus slip % correction)

so what vehicle was this done on?

I think his front bumper and one tire weigh more than a 928.

I did it yesterday with my #1 Peterbilt......thought it might be fun to list the numbers here ('cause everybody else does with their rides....er, cars).....:D


I had an ECM failure and figured I'd have them dyno it after the new ECM, and for a engine that's got 885,000 miles on it, it came out pretty good.....

the engine is only rated for 600 hp, and you can usually figure a 20% loss at the rear wheels, so 569 was way above what I expected.

One of these days, I'll have my Euro motor put together and then have some fun with the numbers----:D
