vacuum line from diverter valve to...

I am trying correct a vacuum line mess in my 86.5. I recently found fantom lines run with no connection and I think I have it all figured out... except one.

The diverter valve (thing that has a hose connecting to the bottom of the air box) has a vacuum connection. Where is it supposed to go? I think it connects to the front of the throttle body, but not sure.

Any help will be appreciated.

Chris

I seriously HATE unfinished posts ended with "I figured it out" without a "how I figured it out." Anyways, there are a lot of great posts on this and the Diverter Valve vacuum connects to 1B show in the pic.

I also hate unfinished posts. But, I hate EVEN MORE posts without replys. . If you notice, this post was 4/08.

Thanks for the picture, though. I found one similar on another sight, that's how I figured it out.

...but why would anyone reply to your post when you said you figured it out 1-1/2 hours later. It's all good, it's now a complete posting.

search was my friend.

you went back almost a year to find this. on a mission to complete unfinished posts?

You are correct, though. The original poster should always report some type of resolution for the good of the group.

I think I may go back and see if I have any others hanging open.

Yup, search was friend that day too. I searched under "Diverter Valve" and came up with yours and a few others. Too bad I really couldn't use your since I have a CIS and is a little different, but still learned a few things here and there in my quest.
