vacuum line from diverter valve to...
I am trying correct a vacuum line mess in my 86.5. I recently found fantom lines run with no connection and I think I have it all figured out... except one.
The diverter valve (thing that has a hose connecting to the bottom of the air box) has a vacuum connection. Where is it supposed to go? I think it connects to the front of the throttle body, but not sure. Any help will be appreciated. ![]() Chris

I seriously HATE unfinished posts ended with "I figured it out" without a "how I figured it out." Anyways, there are a lot of great posts on this and the Diverter Valve vacuum connects to 1B show in the pic.

...but why would anyone reply to your post when you said you figured it out 1-1/2 hours later. It's all good, it's now a complete posting.

search was my friend.
you went back almost a year to find this. on a mission to complete unfinished posts? You are correct, though. The original poster should always report some type of resolution for the good of the group. I think I may go back and see if I have any others hanging open.

Yup, search was friend that day too. I searched under "Diverter Valve" and came up with yours and a few others. Too bad I really couldn't use your since I have a CIS and is a little different, but still learned a few things here and there in my quest.
