Timing Marks

Can anyone post Timing alignment on cams and crank and position of distributor please on 1979 Model 928

Crank at zero, then you will see a small cut out on each timing gear (With cover off). Line the cut out up with the arrows on the cam cover body. PUt timing belt back on. Then make sure distro is firing at #1. Advance about 1/8 turn and you'll be close. Use a timing gun with vacuum to distro disconeccted and plugged. I think 79 is 32* like the Euros?

Looking for pics of the timing marks for you.

Try this link, it's how I finally got mine started. My pics are what marks to NOT use, then a few post down is a scan on what that you DO use.

Fras, the metal tube ending near the power steering reservoir I "think" has a hose over to the thermostat body. The T half way down the fender is "maybe" for some connection off the rear of the heads?

The hose off the tee goes to a fitting on the back of the thermostat crossover housing between the cylinder heads...
