Warp

Does anyone know how to unwarp the fiber type backing on a headliner. I have a '78 928. Thank you.

an oldie but goodie from JB, the headliner is the same material as other interior panels.. so

I have also heard of using steam to return the panels back to the correct shape.

I think you may be on to something. I'll try steam next week & post the results. It's good to be able to think out of the box. Thanks again.

I was also thinking of the steam thing, but was also thinking of riveting a strip of sheetmetal on there to make it more permanent.
