The only way it could have looked any better is if it was painted in Wisconsin

You've done this yourself? Do you own a body shop?

Nice work.

Paint

I respect the way you removed the hood and nose cap. The car looks great and its the things that always make it look even better

Here's the original set of photos which were mailed to me quite some time ago. When we had the engine out of the car we sprayed down the engine bay with thinner and pressure washed all the black spray paint the guy had used to black out the engine bay.

Look what the idiot did to the rear 1/4 panels on the car.

At $4,000 he overpaid for this car, considering the body, interior and engine were all trashed. It has had a new dash, seats, paint, the engine is a fully gone through Euro 4.7, lots of other stuff done, etc., etc., etc. I still have the original engine in the basement...complete with its one piston which was installed 180 degrees out of position.

He should have bought an S4...then he could have had the 2nd 32VTT, but at this rate he'll have to get in line if he wants one.

Must believe in the black makes you look slim myth and was looking to slim -- isnt that the already wider year body.

could have gone with a too wide of tire and pulled panels from rubbing on the gotta have em tires not that tires are cheap but thats the route to take modify the 30,000+ dollar cars area.

He cut the quarters out and hammered and dolled them out and welded the pieces back on and put body filler in the hole quarters.

Looks really good sonett. I always like seeing OB's being restored better than new. Is that a Porsche paint color? It kinda looks like Ziegelrot Kiln Red.

Wait a minute- what is the VIN for this car? That is NOT an ROW or "Euro" car. It has the US front fenders, rear plastic clip WITHOUT the nebelsuschlucht, and has the rear US side marker lights, basically sealing the deal. This is a US car that y'all bought off eBay or someplace. It isn't an ROW car at all. I mean, who would take the time to weld into the rear fenders the US rear side markers?

-What happened to "Goldfinger", the gold car that was sold for the ridiculous price of $8000 on eBay a few years ago? I assumed that the Florida brother of the Kuhn had bought this car and now...it was being re-colored....something I totally disagree with. Did the gold car get destroyed and you are now mounting that glorious hand-built engine, probably worth $20,000....in another car?

N?
