How do i get a original price sticker for my 80?
How do i get a original price sticker for my 1980 928? is there a website where you can get a price sticker sheet by typing your vin number in? How do I get the price sticker that shows what my car cost and all the options that it has? any info. would be great. See example Thanks

Wow, that would be cool to have.
I would be interested to know too. Although mine might be bit harder since it's a Euro.

I don't think Euro's had price stickers, but some of the Rennlisters figured out how to print their own, so maybe some kind of word etc. shell document is available where you can put in your own option info.
For a fat price Porsche will print out a certificate of some kind, but many report they are not accurate. |

Andrew Olsen wrote a PPT program but the format is for a later car. You can edit it but YOU have to know the prices and options. As far as I know if your original is gone...its gone. Do a search for "window sticker" in the Rennlist 928 forum. I made one for my 89S4 and this past weekend at a show and shine it got A LOT of attention. I printed in on 11 X 17 paper and it looks about the right size. If anyone wants to do theirs I will be glad to print and mail it for you.

If you take yours to ANY shows or meet and greets a window sticker makes all the difference in the world when it comes to people taking time to LOOK close at your car. My 1989 S4 list price was just under $79000 and everyone ( even new porsche owners ) were amazed. Most even took time to READ each discription...motor size, HP, ect... Lots didn't know Porsche MADE a V-8 till recently. It really is cool and a great ice breaker. What a way to spread the word on these cars...it may very well spark an interest in many....with more interest come higher car values. |
