1982 AFC tests
I have a 1982 US Model and I am trying to test the readings from the AFC unit on the intake. From my understanding when the flap is moved within the unit, there should be a variable reading if an ohm meter is attached to the correct contacts on the unit. There are 5 connector pins on the unit and I do not get any sort of variable reading from any of the pins when the flap is moved. I have connected the two leads from my meter in different combinations to all the various pins and do not get the expected readings. Am I doing this wrong or is my AFC messed up? Tested the pins according to the manual and got correct resistance readings as per the manual it makes no mention of a variable reading when the flap is moved. Any ideas?

Maybe EZF pin 6 ye/re (yellow/red), and pin 27 gn/br (green/brown), or pin 7 gn/re (green/red) , and pin 8 gn (green).

Tried that and no change in resistance. Used both a digital and analog meter as well. Do I perhaps need to probe into the connected plug and test for voltage vs. ohms while the car is running? Still not sure of the pins to probe.
