tedward515 is a combination of my real name Edward and what some of my family or older friends call me, Ted. So tedward. When I first got on the internet tedward was already taken as an email/user name, so it suggested stuff like tedward with a random number stuck on the front or end. So I went with one of my favorite Who songs 5:15, off of Quadrophenia. Kinda childish, but its easy to remember.

Since it is so short, easy, and pretty much any forum/email server/well you get the point, lets me use that combo I have allways used it. I think I had to add 928 to the end on this forum. (must be another vdubr'er out there somewhere. First time in 10 or so years that I had to alter the combo. Think ebay was the last. :) |

Got into drag racing snowmobiles with my son when he was in high school. He wanted a name for our race team (me, my dad, my son, and friends that tagged along). My Son came up with Ice-Hot Racing, then came the real world and college and.....well you know how it goes. So we retired from drag racing, he went off to college and I got stuck with the bill! lol. I second WTF on 99% of lfausty's posts. I teach 9th graders, so I am usually up with all the latest "short for" texting stuff (i.e WTF). But dang, lfausty, come on now! Try using a period every once in a while.;) Mike- No room to talk on the confusing messages here. It took me a good 2 minutes to figure what the heck you meant by ROFLMAF in one of your posts. :D It's nice to find out a little more about everyone here. This forum is made up of people that like to help each other, can take take a joke (see directly above) and some ribbing, and get a good laugh with out getting ticked off. This is a good place to be. |
My initials also. I have two middle names because my dad thought it would be cool if I had DM as my first two initials (Stands for Deutsche Mark) so I got Mark. My mom wanted Robert, so I got it too.

You can follow his design language right through from the earliest 356 to todays 997. Thats pretty impressive. (not too mention his work on the Beetle)
