1985 928s 5 speed I have to sell
Well things have come up that forces me to sell my beauty.
Its a 1985 928s 5 speed black/ black. The car runs fantastic. stops great, clutch is great, body is almost perfect. No rust or missing paint just the body of a very nice well taken care of 1985 car. The inside is good. Dash has the crack in it and the rear hatch leather has some shrinking going on. Just some tlc in areas and it would be fine. Has a few bad things. One thing is it has a rebuilt title. Car fax shows no damage, ever. It was new in MN and carfax says if it was reported stolen in MN it will have the rebuilt title. Also the stupid odometer quit working at 99300. Title has it at the 99300 and milage says actual. In reality it has @ 105000. The owner I got it from got the car in 2002. I have proof of that. He had this one and an s4. He was a retired man and never drove the cars. I knew him and the cars were always just sitting in his driveway like it was a show or something. He had the timing belt done and water pump and other maint things done. New injecters as well. So thats it. I need this gone yestersday, I live in mason ohio by kings island. I am out of work and doesnt look like I will find a job worth havein for a little bit. I cant stress enough this is a very nice car and it will be missed. v8 32v dohc. I really need 7000 for it but if you have an offer I would like to hear that too. I need this gone to move on with things for my family. Thank you all.

Ebay (***) is the place to sell a car fast, and you will not get a good price with those pictures.
Take about two dozen daylight pictures, brace the camera against something and be sure of the focus. Make sure you have a nice back drop. Pictures need show a nice looking car, but make sure all of the defects are also shown. 5 spd is a big plus to selling it, rebuilt title a big minus. Decide when it absolutely has to be sold, when you need the money or some of it in hand, don't wait until the last minute. *** If you don't have any ebay feedback, starting at 0 and trying to sell a car may not work so well, forget about ebay, and look for a cash buyer within the 928 community. |

I feel you. i will try to get some more pics tomorrow. I need 5000 for the backed up bills. So 5000 it is.

let me tell you what sells cars- PICTURES!
People make money from cars through buying cars from people with crappy pics, a nice car, and in a hurry to sell. Once you get the car clean and good pics put in on craigslist and autotrader, should be gone in a week being a B/B 5speed for 5k |

very good. and thank you. I am going to clean it up and get some great pics of it tomorrow. I cant stand being in this position. I am paying bills and when this goes i will be getting something for alot less and more of a daily driver.... for now....

If I was in the market now I'd buy that thing all day long for 5k. Don't go less than that, it will sell. I will pass this along to a guy I know...
