Air pump

What do you block off when removing the air pump. I have a '78 928. Thanks guys.

there is a pipe that feeds a hole in the back of each head that needs to be plugged when removing the air pump and its related plumbing.

You can purchase these plugs from any of the major 928 suppliers--it's the same plug that is in the top side of your camtowers (hides the tower retaining bolts inside).

be sure to also get the aluminum washer that goes with it.

Mark Anderson @ 928 Int'l or Mason @ 928 Worldwide wold probably give you a pair off a junk set of heads.....

Isn't there a 1-way valve back there so pressure doesn't feed back to the Diverter Valve? Just wondering as this may be my source of air noise upon acceleration.
