correct CE panel

Well, I thought every one could use a new topic so as to get off the e-bay "train wreck" (as Dangler rightly put it) thread.
If anyone out there has an 82 Euro S with a CE panel in original condition (correct fuse and relay placement) could you please take a picture of the CE panel and post it?
I have 3 sources (printouts) that say "Fuse Panel and Relay Chart for 1982 928," or something similar, and yet they are all different. The one that seems to be the closest to my set up is not an exact match. I have been going around in circles with my electrical issues because I don't know what's what anymore on the CE panel.
My main concern right now is that the HVAC controls (the whole set-up on the center console) are still completely dead, no power what-so-ever. And I can't fix it when I don't even know where to start.
Thanks in advance.

Here, you can be the judge of that: (Disregard the jumper for my Starter)

Gracias Senor. Off hand, it looks pretty close.
Where's your VDO box?

I think the real question is what are the correct relays to have in the correct positions, your pictures done give any clues as to that info.
See if Alan can assist you he is the elex guru.
Since you have a Euro the panel may have a few different relays and installations.
I suggest the you use the www.928GT.com for the fuse/relay chart it on page 2 under tips/links

Uhm, these are pics of a Euro. Mine is an 81 and his an 82. All my Relays are stock and everything pretty much works on my car. I just threw out the disclaimer on the jumper as I removed the Relay and jumped the Starter. He is also CIS so I'm betting we are exact or very very close. I am sure Alan can chime in and verify if his is the same or different.

Although, I did use one of the charts off that website you linked and it was pretty much right on the money.

Thanks Merlin. Yeah, I have this chart and it is the one that is closest, but it's not exact. For example, after pulling and cleaning my CE panel I used their chart to put all new fuses in. After that, my brake lights didn't work. Luckily, I had taken a picture of the panel BEFORE I removed it, so going back to the pic, I saw that I was supposed to have a fuse in position #7, yet the chart said it should be empty. I put a fuse into 7 and now my brake lights work again. I pulled the CE panel again, just to check, and there has been no boogering with the wires on the back of the panel, so my #7 is supposed to have a fuse there. It's things like that which make tracking down elec. problems troublesome.
As you stated, it would be nice to know which relays are supposed to be where on the Euro CE panel, just in case the chart does not match up again.
Thanks again Leo for those snapshots, they are helpful

Compared to your panel Dano, and the chart from www.928GT.com, here's what I have found:

I am missing the relay on the top row, 4th from right (fuel injection). My engine runs just fine (except that the water pump is going out).

My top row, third from right, AC Condenser fan relay, is smaller than yours (mine could be wrong, and could be why I have no power to HVAC controls. In fact, most of my relays don't match up with the part #s on the chart, but look original).

I have one that you don't - bottom row, 4th from right (intensive washer).

Here's a shot of the VDO.

Oh yeah, does that VDO box sit in the Center Console area (very bottom under hvac)? If so, I think mine was a silver box.

Yeah, I think it is SUPPOSED to go there. However, mine was mounted near the CE panel.

After looking at a bunch of pics when I had my Center Console and Dash out. I don't see that box anywhere. What does it do?

"Bulb Control Unit" is what DC Auto calls it. It has "lamp controller," or something like that, printed on it in German.
