Road Trip in the 928
Hi,
I made a 1200 mile round trip from Oregon to California and back this past weekend. My last trip to CA was to get the title squared away. This time I was rolling with registered Oregon license plates. I got to feel the Porsche in her several times on I-5. The 14" electric radiator fan kept tings plenty cool now that I'm not running the belt driven fan. I averaged 21 miles per gallon. I hope the government never want to pour liquid glass into her engine and call her a clunker. I post photos if any of them are work looking at. -Bed |

Funny, I drove 3000 miles round trip from MN. to CO. I met up with some crazy 914guys in Fruita. We tore up the National Monument Park Colorado National Monument (U.S. National Park Service) and visited The Gateway Auto Museum. Gateway Colorado Automobile Museum
I think I averaged about 19 mpg. My average really dropped after we tore it up in the Park... ![]() ![]() ![]()
