door panel repair

Months ago when I first got my 928 I came across a site that showed how to rebuild the inner door panels. The guy got rid of the and used something similar to plywood. It may have been on a 944, I don't really remember. Anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, could you please post the link? TIA.

Not sure what surprises your talking about, but I ended up using screws instead of those snap thingys. They weren't strong enough and they kept snapping off. Buy super duper adhesive. Get your materials from Home Depot or equivalent. Use your old one as a template.

Thanks. I didn't realize your site was so great. I just got through exploring, and it's a pretty sweet resource. You've done a good job.

I love it! I nearly pissed my pants when I saw the pic of your engine with the dryer vent hoses connected. I will definitely be using your site as I restore my 928. A one-stop shop for many restoration projects.

Whats funny is that you'll see a lot of Euros using those same hoses. I guess all the Europeans own the same make Clothes Dryer
