Start a raffle? Or, give it to a RW or Pelican member? Or, perhaps somebody you do business with has always wanted a free 928??

Why not?
OK, I'll bite. Sure. Where is it located? what exactly do you mean by "chassis", In my definition that may or may not include a motor, transmission, you know interesting bits that might be important.
Can I get some more details as to what it needs and what condition it is in. Ruby is still in pieces and it wouldn't be fair to put her on hold as she has been so patient. 5 speed? Does it come with Graphics??

It's an '82 body, with no guts and no panels (the rear 1/4 panels are there).
That's all there is, a completely sanitized- gutted 928- absolutely picked clean. Come get it anytime. We're moving right now, so the car is 75% stripped, I need a 48 hours to get it totally stripped, so anyone who wants it just has to coordinate with me when they want to pick up so I can have it prepped. |

Regrettably decline
My sincerest apologies sir. I cannot accept your generous offer as i cannot give a home and a future to a vehicle that has been "picked clean" by a professional such as yourself. You are just too good at it. I must regrettably decline and let the vehicle go to one who can use it more than I. Such as an accident victim in need of a straight frame or rear panels. Thanks again for your generous offer.

Does it have a sunroof? Was it an auto or 5 speed?

If no one takes it, the roof is worth about $200.

The going rate for roof panel without a sunroof hole is $200. I cut the one off of the car I parted out and sold it for $250 but I later reduced the price before shipping because I saw another one sell for two hundred on Rennlist. So I would say $200 is a fair price. I cut it off at the A,B & C pillars and built a crate for it. The Rennlister who bought it is going to drill out the spot welds and then have it grafted onto his street/track car.
It would be a shame to waste a roof panel if no one picks up that shell.

Thank you for your kind offer. I'll have to decline. I hope someone will take the whole shell. Good luck. Happy moving.
