Any nice '87-'91 5-speed cars for sale?

I'm trying to help a good friend of mine find a nice '87-'91 5-speed 928 in the $15-$20K range, but haven't had much luck as nearly all of the cars I am finding are studies in deferred maintenance that need a lot of work. Do any of you know any nice '87-'91 5-speed "turn key" cars that are available in the $15K-$20K range? Any leads will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the offer on your beautiful 928, but he absolutely has to have a manual transmission.

I suspect you could find a "turn-key" S4 5-speed in that price range, but a 89-91GT in that condition and price range might be hard to find. I know I wouldn't sell mine for that unless I absolutely had to (knock on wood).

Thank you all for your assistance with helping my friend find a nice 928. He took delivery of a pristine and all original red/tan 1987 5-speed LSD car yesterday. The car has around 50K miles on it and he paid $17K.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera with yesterday when I gave him a ride to pick up his car, I will take some pics the next time I see him and post them.

The car was on consignment at GRS Motorwerks in Warsaw, IN. Photos of the car can be seen on their website:

Looks very nice and reasonably priced.

One thing I noticed, the plastic cover that goes over the positive terminal under the hood is missing. This shields the terminal from water, and its absence could allow water into the terminal area and 14-pin connector. I would check this area for corrosion and repair it if there is any, as corrosion here is an electrical gremlin waiting to happen.

Thanks Jarrod,

I too noticed this right away too when inspecting the car at delivery. Fortunately, the cover and the retaining nut were found in the engine bay so I put them back in their properly place.

Cars that Todd buys are not showing up in the this market, or the seller is asking top dollar already. He only buys cars that he can easily put in 100% original condition and sell at a profit.
