Wipers activate on Start
Hello everyone, 1st time poster here, but really enjoyed all the info.
I just tackled replacing the odometer gear in my '85. And amazingly, it worked! This was a big undertaking for me, but I got it all back together, and working. Except, when I start it, the wipers activate 2x then turn off. It kind of kills my coolness factor when I'm leaving. Any clue where I should look first? I really don't want to take the pod out again if I don't have to. Thanks! Jodie Castle Rock, CO |

Maybe the wires for the intensive washer button have exposed copper that's making contact.

Do all the functions work normally? particularly the intermittent wipers & delay control? You may have left something dissconected
