I've got a hood I would be happy to sell off my 84 Euro, but how does it get from Orange to NV?

I'll be in LV 1/6 for CES, but not in anything that would hold a hood.

Take the hood off your 928 that you will be driving to LV and put the one from your 84 Euro in it's place. Remove it in LV and go hoodless back home. Just make sure to put Christmas Lights in the Engine Compartment for the entertainment show.

Very cool. How much? If you can find a shipper, I'll pay 4 shipping. (much cheaper than driving the PU to SoCal)
thanks, Kerry

Dunno if it would fit on our Lincoln Continental, which is what we are driving. If we can find a way for me to just hand it to somebody $100 and its yours, maybe one of the private shippers on uship.com would be willing to pick up in Orange and drop in NV cheap?

Did somebody else want a door or something?

You could strap it down on your hood like a pair of Bull Horns. I think that's accepted as normal in Las Vegas.

Its too large in two dimensions I think for Greyhound, but uship has hundreds of small time shippers, many looking for dead end loads, or bits they can add to another shipment to make some extra money. Lots of pickup trucks with big horse trailers etc.

What would be ideal is somebody moving, driving through both our areas and willing to stop and stick a hood someplace safe on top of the main load. I'm cool with any method that doesn't have me driving around or doing packing.

I thought Lincolns had a BIG trunk. That's why the mobsters always drive them; they can fit lots of bodies back there.

Yeah, I know in the movies, they would put at least 3 bodies in the trunk. Line up 3 bodies next to a 928 hood and walla, plenty of room.

Continental, not a towncar, and the trunk is still huge, but a 928 hood is both wide at the windshield and long overall.

Now, if somebody has an inexpensive S4 wing, I'll be in Hog Heaven. I plan on stripping the car for paint in January/February. So...Mike,
if you can find someone to ship it up, I can send you some money. Let me know what you're preferred method, MO, Check, Paypal etc. might be.
Regards, Kerry
Oh, by the way... politically correct or not... MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone

If I ever rethink of putting an S4 Wing on my OB. I'm going aftermarket. I know there is a local place here in San Diego that carries the Fiberglass replica. I've heard horror stories of it not fitting correct, but I would bring my car there and dry fit before purchasing. I'm not a big fan of the Rubber/Foam OEM Wings for our cars as they look like Shint from all the sun they get. If it's a Garage Queen, then that's a different story. I believe the Fiberglass wing was around $200

Heres a Florida place that also sells em
