removing vacuum door locks

i installed aftermarket power door lock/key-less entry system on my '78. everything is working. i removed both the vacuum actuators and i want to know the best way to disable/delete the vacuum hoses. right now i plugged the red and green hoses together on the passenger side and plugged the blue hose into the green hose and tapped up the red hose on the drivers side. seems a waste to have these hoses running through my car with air pumping through them. if i leave these hoses disconnected the car idle surges back and forth.

Finding the point where it joins into the rest of the vacuum system might not be easy, plugging all the lines should be fine.

Cool, what system did you buy? Care to share maybe a link and what you paid. I have the electric system in mine, which uses a small motor that you can really hear when it spins when you put the key in the door. Really sounds archaic.
