Works like a friggin charm. Local NAPA had 3, so I bought all 3. WUR, AAV and Temp Snsor/Switch. Around $13 a piece.
Thanks Raymond for the find! Yeah, I figured it's routing after I posted the reply. Too early to think clearly. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I buy them, I think them anyway, the ones for injectors, from this guy on ebay for $2/each about $20 for 9 shipped.

Great find Mike. Although I think quality wise, the NAPA onces seem better than OEM or the eBay ones. Spring is a lot stiffer too.

FI Electrical Connectors -
I agree with Danglerb and have also bought the assorted packets of the two pin female electrical boxed connectors off of Ebay. They are used all over the Bosch fuel injected cars. After a couple of initial tests to make sure they would reliably handle the current supplied to parts like the Warm Up Regulator - I've since installed them on Nissan, BMW, Porsche, VW and Saab in the temp sensor, cold start and fuel injector circuits with no problems. Just make sure to properly solder in all your pig tail connectors, stagger your solder points, use shrink tape for wiring protection and clean the male pin contacts (temp sense, etc...) - it is hard to beat these $2 connectors.....
One tip that you might also try and has worked pretty well for me is to use a soft tooth brush and a glob of tooth paste to start the male pin cleaning process. Finish up with some carb cleaner and compressed air.... ![]() Good Luck, Michael Last edited by JK McDonald; 12-20-2009 at 08:21 AM.. |
