Door Glass Squeegee Ideas?

I was wondering if anyone have a good side cut view of our door squeegee? I took mine off long ago since they were cracked anyways.

I saw this and was wondering if it might work. The piece on the bottom is what would just be cut off. You would actually mount it upside down than what is pictured.

the hardest part to copy will be the corner where it curls up to the window/door post...and thats where most of them break off

Since I don't have any on my car, I don't have a baseline for what it "exactly" looks like. Baby steps, figure out the 3 feet of straight line, then figure out the curving 2 inches. Probably a Heat Gun Cure for that though.

the 3 edges are the parts where the seal attaches to the metal trim, thats why is so hard to install the new rubber and virtually impossible to install a used one or remove a used one

this is the dside off 78 euro, i know someone was in need of one arent most of us. It reminded me to check mine out for use on the 82, i had a crap load of tools in hand to get something else off car and when looked at rest of possible useable seals on the door, i pulled on this seal and off it came, less than three seconds, practically took it off with my elbow as hands were full. Uncurved end and pulled it right off, i did rip a inch or so of it when hit resistance starting it but then got full grip.

There is a deep grove on the velvet side and a groove same place front side then the inch channel. Not in the greatest shape the curve a bit cracky but mostly real pliable.

Sold the pass door , needed the glass but took it off fast and was gone before i remembered about parts i needed off it. My glass has a chip off the top of it and had that spare glass , BOO. Dont think i would have even checked that seal, there in such bad shape, wasnt a thought at the time, had i known.

I too think of possibles to make something, like the MB has one wiper, long, a triple action winterized squeege blade w/the rubberized boot over the metal blade- could lip (glue) to the cars metal and the triple edges could squeegee. Ok it was a one second brain flash, thinking.......
