If this guy offered me that car for free, I would have to turn him down. Why? I have no place to put it! If I owned a farm or a big business or some other large place to put a junk parts car...I would have already done it!

Yes, I saw this too Neil. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. That $700 eBay find in Escondido looked better than this one.

The car appears to be ROW (note reflectors on fenders and qtr panels), but the speedometer is in mph. Looks like the speedometer/odometer was changed out during or after federalization and obviously has more than 17K miles.

Is that a radiator cap on the passenger top side of the radiator?

Tried enlarging it but still can't tell if it is a radiator cap. I do see the tank by the firewall and the bleed/fill tubes that run from the thermostat housing, so it appears the original setup is still there. Could be the cap is just sitting on the radiator cover.

I sent an email, but the poster isn't the owner, its his friend "John's" car and you need to call the number in the ad, which I am too lazy to do.

Joke
Yea guys, he is joking. Someone who is serious and shows up with cash and a tow truck (my favorite tactic) could prob get it for parts car value. Now, what you would DO with it...Well...I will leave that up to speculation.

I would take it away for free! ive heard the '79 cams are good. the rest could be parted out for some $$$- aluminum body panels, wheels, glass, possibly tranny or torque tube? FORGET about getting it on the street!
