Cold Start Injector

Where is the cold start injector on my '80us? Is there a probe on the engine that tells it to turn on, or does it cue off of coolant temp? My engine runs intermittantly rich, with a regular cycling at operating temp. I can hear what sounds like a solenoid kicking in and out at idle, sounds like an A/C comprssor being engergized, but I have no A/C at this time.

Cold Start Injector is on the front of your Spider. Not sure what tells it to turn off and on though.

There is a themoswitch that is in the start circuit. trace the 2 wires from your valve to find it.

It is actuated by the start function and at a specific temp shuts off.
